What is a social movement?

Social movement are a type of group action. They are large, sometimes informal, groupings of individuals or organizations which focus on specific political or social issues. In other words, they carry out, resist, or undo a social change.

What is May Day?

May day in my opinion is when the minority come together as one to seek help and actually create a change by making a voice and taking over streets so their demands can be heard.

How did may day become a protest?

From what I recall my teacher told me a old or older student felt like what was going on around her was wrong and wanted to make a change so she got the word out and people started agreeing with her vision.

Describe what fremont HS students will be doing on may 1st?

Most fremont HS students will join the protest while other will take the protest in another direction and head home and others will stay at school finish or catch up on work.
